Bufflehead recently added a couple photos on the $100 boat he picked up. It reminds me of when I scored first duck boat. Bought it from another Rat and it was a Seanymph brand too. Paid $500 for boat, galvanized trailer, and Sears Ted Williams 9.9 motor. (-: Learned alot from that boat, and killed a bunch of ducks too. The motor always ran marginally so upgraded it after two years to a 15hp. Boat ran like the wind...good memories.

If you can own a 2 stroke, try to find an older Suzuki 15hp. Biggest displacement of the 15s, oil injection, not heavy, super motor...that is what I added to my seanymph.

My grandfather had the same Ted Williams set up, but then back then what else would you own. What was interesting on my boat was my wife took me to the marina to buy a new boat. She wanted me to have what I wanted not just a old beat up boat. I walked in looked at a decked out Lund for 23,000.00 said nice boat let;s go. On the way home I found my new investment. I thinking a new 15 hp next year as well.
